i know, i know!

it's been a while. but the monkey hasn't posted, either.

i am HOME. in OLYMPIA. my probably-useless audition went just fine, and better: i spent monday afternoon with laurie, darren, bianca and cosmo. also wonderful: my parents took me on an overnight jaunt to portland, where we stayed in the same keen hotel where the monkey and i had our first new year's eve. back then, we looked under the mattress (i can't remember why) and there was a skin mag under there. i wasn't sure whether this was a relic or an amenity at the time, but i checked under all the beds in our junior suite, and there was NO PORN. mystery solved, i guess.

all in all, it's been a truly lovely time so far. if anyone who's reading this wants to see john kaufmann's show on friday, i reserved an extra ticket . . .
