but not because we don't love you.

this valentine's day is sort of emblematic of recent months: after two days of almost no conscious contact, we had an hour or two this morning before c. had to run to a rehearsal, then work, and i had to start the pile of photocopied reading assigments that weekly threatens to eat our couch.

sigh.

chocolates on sunday, we decided. we're hoping that romance deferred is all the sweeter.
