Moving on up

We were told that university sponsored housing had a 9 month waiting list. We were also told that the waiting period could be shortened by calling the housing office repeatedly and making a nuisance of yourself. While she was in LA looking for apartments, Lindsay called the housing office and was told we were #4 on the list. She was also told that an offer was going out that day for an apartment and if it was not accepted they'd offer it to us since they knew we'd say yes.

We will be moving into a two bedroom apartment (with a dishwasher, pool, heat, a/c basic cable included) in the married and family housing complex on October 1st. Lindsay starts school on the 25th of September so things will be a little odd for two weeks while we live someplace else, but that's small potatoes compared to the relief of knowing we have a place to live.

Now to sublet this place . . . which hopefully will work itself out by this week end.

(those of you who were there and/or desire the deep cuts, i have a larger album that includes the various parties and rehearsals . . . )

it already feels a little dreamy, like it happened to me when i was a younger person. i can't wait until we're safely moved and can start wallpapering our bathroom with the outtakes.
